Reviewer - Sundance Film Festival
This is a paid freelance and contractual position.
CBR is the #1 entertainment website and publishes up-to-the-minute news on blockbuster movies, TV shows, video games, comic books, and other forms of entertainment.
CBR is seeking an experienced and passionate Freelance Film Reviewer to cover the Sundance Film Festival. This opportunity is ideal for a critic who is already planning to attend Sundance and would like to publish timely reviews for a large digital audience.
Your Responsibilities
- Watch assigned (or mutually agreed-upon) Sundance films.
- Produce thoughtful, original and timely reviews.
- Adhere to CBR’s editorial standards.
- Work under tight deadlines and submit tasks on time.
Requirements
- Rotten Tomatoes-approved critic status is mandatory.
- Must already be attending Sundance on their own and have valid access (press, industry or ticket package).
- Demonstrated experience in film reviews or entertainment journalism
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines during the festival
